Paramahamsa Yoganandaji’s Mahasamadhi Day
March 7 @ 7:00 am - March 8 @ 12:30 am
On March 7th, 1952 Paramahamsa Yoganandaji consciously left his mortal body (Mahasamadhi) to be one with the Eternal Kingdom of God. Although, it’s been more than 67 years since that day, he still blesses us with his teachings and his songs glorifying his love for God.
Paramahamsa Yogananda’s life was eventful, miraculous, monumental, epoch-making and divinely ordained to propagate unity between the east and the west through Kriya Yoga. Adored by many through the fascinating account of the biopic “Awake: The Life of Yogananda”, and his renowned book “Autobiography of a Yogi”, millions have been and still are being inspired to practice the Kriya Yoga path for attaining God-realization
Paramahamsa Yoganandaji said – “Remember that opportunity in life comes by creation and not by chance”
So, let’s take this auspicious day as a means to create the opportunity to intensify our devotion towards our beloved Paramhamsa Yoganandaji and his principles. On this occasion, we welcome you to join us to celebrate Paramahamsa Yoganandaji’s Mahasamadhi Day by immersing yourself in meditation and devotional songs at the Temple of Peace, Denver.
** Meditations at the Temple of Peace are open only to those initiated into the lineage of Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji and Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji
